2017 Cadillac ATS and CTS Carbon Black Models Bow

Hoping to add spark to its two core car lines, Cadillac has announced new Carbon Black sport packages for the 2017 ATS and CTS, including unique versions for the high-performance ATS-V and CTS-V models. Each will be available when the 2017s arrive in showrooms later this summer. Both blend bolder graphic touches with subtle functional enhancements.

All Cadillac Carbon Black models can be had in one of four exterior colors: Black Raven, Phantom Gray Metallic, Red Obsession Tintcoat, Crystal White Tricoat with the ATS/ATS-V also offering Velocity Red. All have Black Chrome grilles and After Midnight dark finish wheels with ATS models adding a Black Chrome rear fascia applique. The ATS Luxury and Premium Luxury Sedan and Coupe feature black side window moldings and body-colored door handles along with a V-Series spoiler which appears on the CTS Luxury and V-Sport Premium Luxury Sedans, as well. The ATS-V Sedan/Coupe and CTS-V sport Carbon Fiber packages that bring a more aggressive front splitter, hood-vent trim, rear diffuser, composite rocker extension panels and a larger rear spoiler -- body color on the ATS-Vs, exposed carbon fiber on the CTS-V.

Available in Jet Black or Light Platinum, the Carbon Package cabins have low-gloss carbon fiber accents and upgraded front seats, with some form of Recaro-spec buckets standard in the ATS/ATS-V and CTS V-Sport Premium and available in the CTS Luxury. All full V-spec examples also offer optional suede wraps for the steering wheel and shifter. Pricing for the new Carbon Black packages will be announced closer to the on-sale date of the 2017 Cadillac ATS/ATS-V and CTS/CTS-V models.
