2016 Toyota Camry Special Edition: Style meets convenience

Getting its reveal at Chicago Auto Show, the 2016 Toyota Camry Special Edition brings a new level of exclusivity to America's best-selling automobile. Based on the Camry SE trim grade, this new Special Edition will match unique cosmetic touches with added tech and convenience features. To be produced in a limited run of approximately 12,000 units from August until next January, all will be fitted with the existing 2.5-liter/4-cylinder engine and a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Offered in either Blizzard Pearl or an exclusive Blue Streak Metallic, the Camry Special Edition feature a power moonroof, 18-inch machine-finish alloy wheels with gloss black accents, a smoked taillamp treatment and badges. Inside, the exclusive sport appearance seats are clad in black SofTex with blue patterned inserts, high-contrast blue stitching, a custom blue-detailed sport instrument cluster, and special logo floor mats. Hardware enhancements include Entune Audio Plus, Qi Wireless Charging and Smart Key with Pushbutton Start while Entune Premium Audio with Navigation and App Suite are options. Like all Toyotas, the new Camry Special Edition will come with the comprehensive Star Safety System that includes ABS brakes with Brake Assist and Electronic Brake-force Distribution, stability/traction control and Smart Stop Technology. Pricing for the 2016 Toyota Camry Special Edition will be announced later this year.
