2016 Infiniti QX50 revamped, price cut

Pricing has now been released for the revamped 2016 Infiniti QX50 and its bolder styling, longer wheelbase and longer list of standard equipment will be complemented by a lower sticker. The automaker's versatile hauler will be offered in two forms, the Infiniti QX50 and QX50 AWD (all-wheel drive), which start at $35,445 and $36,845, respectively, when they go on sale this fall.

In addition to offering more passenger space thanks to a 3.2-inch longer wheelbase, the 2016 QX50's sticker numbers reflect a $550 price drop from 2015. This comes despite the addition of $1,700 worth of new features highlighted by a power moonroof and heated seats. Hoping to further enhance the appeal of its sporty 5-seater, Infiniti has added a new Premium Plus Package to the existing Premium, Deluxe Touring and Technology Packages and set an attractive $500 price on the existing Premium Package that nets an 11-speaker Bose audio system, upgraded climate control, real maple wood interior accents, aluminum roof rails and more. The overall improved value of the well-equipped Premium Package model is approximately $4,500 (RWD), positioning the new QX50 in the heart of the luxury crossover segment.
