Seen here an official teaser image, the all-new 2015 Subaru Outback is set to bow at the New York Auto Show. Subaru had little to say about the recasting of its flagship crossover save for the fact that it will "blend car-like handling and SUV capability." However, even from this partial view, it's clear the new Outback embodies the same new design language seen in the 2015 Subaru Legacy that was revealed at the Chicago Show in February.

In addition to sharing a good deal of its styling character with the automaker's new top-line sedan offering, the 2015 Outback is expected be spun from the same basic platform and offer the same 4-cylinder and 6-cylinder boxer engines, Lineartronic CVT automatic and standard all-wheel drive system along with an even higher level of comfort, convenience and safety features. We'll know more on April 17th.
