2015 Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 Pirelli Edition unveiled
Helping celebrate its relationship with the only tire supplier Lamborghini has used since it was formed in 1963, the automaker has announced the creation of its 2015 Aventador LP 700-4 Pirelli Edition. Available as a Coupe or Roadster, this limited-series Lambo complements its potent 691-horsepower V12 engine, paddle-shifted 7-speed ISR automatic transmission and all-wheel-drive mechanicals with a host of unique cosmetic touches highlighted by bespoke two-tone exteriors.
These special series cars rendered in any of the six glossy finishes will have their roof, pillars, rearview mirrors, air intakes and surrounds for the transparent engine covers done in matte black while those sporting one of four available matte body colors will have their contrasting elements painted gloss black. All Pirelli Editions also feature a red stripe on either side of the roof emanating from a Pirelli logo as well as red accents on front intakes and mirror housings. The staggered-size - 20-inch front/21-inch rear - gloss-black Dione alloy wheels are wrapped in Pirelli P Zero performance tires, also boasting prominent rosso accents.
Interior enhancements on the Pirelli Edition cars include black Alcantara-wrapped seats with matching leather side bolsters and red Lamborghini and Pirelli crests embroidered in their backs plus red stripes and contrast stitching. Other touches include leather door panels, a red headliner accent and a ''Pirelli special series'' ID plaque. The order books are now open for the 2015 Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 Pirelli Edition, although final pricing information has yet to be released, with deliveries starting this summer.
