With a new generation of its potent V-Series models ready to launch next year, Cadillac plans to usher out the current models with a limited run of the CTS-V Coupe. Only 500 2015 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe Special Editions will be built, all sharing the same 556-horsepower supercharged 6.2-liter V8, performance-tuned Magnetic Ride Control suspension and Brembo brakes used on the 2014 model.

While buyers will be able to choose from three exterior colors -- Crystal White, Phantom Gray and Black Diamond (a $995 extra), all 500 Special Editions will feature a dark-finish "V" grille, satin graphite wheels and red brake calipers. Inside, these distinctive coupes come with Ebony leather interiors featuring red contrast stitching, Midnight Sapele wood trim, Recaro performance seats, rubber-studded metal sport pedals and a microfiber suede-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob. The cars can be ordered with a 6-speed manual transmission or 6-speed automatic as well as an optional power sunroof. The 2015 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe Special Edition will start at $72,195 including the $1,300 gas guzzler tax. Orders are currently being taken with deliveries set for the second half of 2014.
