The flagship in Audi's lineup, the A8 sedan, has been refreshed with a new front end treatment and boasts additional power under the hood on V8 models. Sporting redesigned LED headlights, the technology is now standard on all models including the base turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6, the TDI diesel, the 4.0-liter V8 and the range topping 6.0-liter W12. Other styling enhancements include sharper hood character lines, a new grille, bumper and front aerodynamic splitter.

Available in both standard and long wheelbase models, the A8 starts at $77,400 for the 3.0-liter turbo six and tops out at $137,900 for the long wheelbase W12. The 4.0-liter turbocharged V-8 models, which list at $86,400 in standard wheelbase and $90,400 for the LWB model, see an increase in output from 420 to 435 horsepower. The LWB turbodiesel is priced at $85,100, while the 520-horsepower S8, which is only offered in the standard wheelbase, costs $114,900.

The Audi A8 features active lane assist to keep the car between lane markers through active steering adjustments, nigh vision assist now offers animal detection in addition to pedestrian detection, secondary collision assist which automatically applies the brakes after initial contact and a head-up display for vehicle speed, navigation and adaptive cruise control.
