First presented at the Geneva show in March, the 2015 Aston Martin DB9 Carbon Editions made their initial U.S. appearance in New York and will arrive in dealers here this fall. Available in basic Carbon Black or Carbon White with custom colors available for those wishing a bit more personalization, each of these elegant grand touring coupes brings its own sense of style to the basic DB9.

Carbon Fiber Accents Abound

In addition to their Carbon Black II or Stratus White finishes, basic exterior cosmetic tweaks to the new DB9 Carbon Editions include carbon fiber side strakes and rear lamp accents plus black meshes and window surrounds along with 10-spoke diamond-turned alloy wheels in a silver or satin-black finish and the choice of red, yellow, grey or black brake calipers. A carbon fiber front splitter, rear diffuser and mirror cap/arm detailing also are available as options. Distinctive enhancement to the noir-look cabin trim include bespoke carbon fiber elements bits, black-finish hardware, accent stitching to match the caliper color choice, and custom "Carbon" logo sill plates.

No changes to the DB9's powertrain, which continues to match a 510-horse/5.9-liter V12 with a 6-speed automatic transmission that ships motive force to the rear wheels through a limited-slip differential. Pricing for the 2015 Aston Martin DB9 Carbon Editions will be released closer to their actual on-sale date.
