2014 Scion xB Release Series 10.0 debuts in New York

Latest limited-edition variation on the iconic box-on-wheels theme, the 2014 Scion xB Release Series 10.0 makes its first pubic appearance at the 2014 New York Auto Show. This time around, Scion opted to create a tech-centric theme for the versatile xB model.

Finished in Electric Quartz - which Scion describes as a pearl white with subtle green highlights -- the xB RS 10.0 also features Tungsten Gray wheel covers. Inside, the 10.0 remix brings custom green-accented upholstery materials, piano black accents, illuminated cupholders/Scion-logo door sills and custom floor mats with "xB Release Series 10.0" indicia. This slick Scion also boasts conductive wireless phone charging in its center console and a rear backup camera.

Class of 2015: New Vehicles Ready to Roll

As a final flourish, the xB Release Series 10.0 features a trio of custom graphic projections. Outside, a green Scion logo appears on the ground behind the rear bumper. That color is reprised inside, where "xB RS 10.0" is beamed down into the driver-side footwell and the individual vehicle's sequential build number is cast onto the passenger-side floor.

Production of the 2014 Scion xB Release Series 10.0 will be limited to 1,500 units and all versions come with the standard 158-horsepower/2.4-liter engine and 4-speed automatic transmission.  In dealerships this summer, pricing starts at $21,175.
