2014 Ram Mossy Oak Edition unveiled in Detroit
Gone for a season while the Chrysler's Group's full-size pickup transitioned into its new generation, an updated Ram Mossy Oak Edition is now headed to showrooms. Based on the Ram 1500 Outdoorsman and offered exclusively in a 4x4 Crew Cab configuration, this latest version extends the well-established working relationship between Ram and the country's top provider of camouflage items. "Our Ram Truck owners are passionate about hunting and fishing," said Reid Bigland, President and CEO, Ram Truck Brand - Chrysler Group LLC. "The Ram Mossy Oak Edition gives hunting enthusiasts a way to proudly proclaim their love for the outdoors."
Available in Black, Black Gold Pearl and Prairie Pearl with Canyon Brown and offering Frost Beige interior choices, the Ram Mossy Oak Edition features bedcaps and its tailgate covered in Mossy Oak Break-Up Infinity camouflage pattern set off with a prominent Mossy Oak logo on the rear quarter panels. Buyers also can opt for Break-Up Infinity-patterned lower body cladding. For the first time, the Mossy Oak Edition will be available with the trick RamBox cargo management system in both the 5-foot/7-inch and 6-foot/4-inch bed lengths.

The passenger compartment of this intentionally low-profile Ram gets a similar Mossy Oak makeover with Break-Up Infinity trim on the dash and door panel inserts plus a Mossy Oak logo embroidered on the four primary headrests. Those seeking a bit more elegance can step up to Espresso Tuscany-colored Katzkin leather seats with Mossy Oak seatback embroidery. Pricing for the 2014 Ram Mossy Oak Edition starts at $41,180.
