2014 Fiat 500c GQ Edition arrives here early next year
Back in March, Fiat teamed with Condé Nast and its style authority GQ Magazine to create a limited-edition model of the Fiat 500 Coupe for the European market. This past weekend, it unveiled a follow-up Cabriolet variant aimed at American buyers. Shown during the Concorso Italiano at Pebble Beach, the 2014 Fiat 500c GQ Edition is spun from the 500 Turbo and incorporates a host of cosmetic and functional enhancements to set it apart.
Finished in Nero Puro (straight black), Argento (silver), Granito Lucente (granite crystal) and Bianco (white) with a black soft top, the 2014 Fiat 500c GQ Edition boasts a more aggressive front fascia with larger air intakes, black accenting on the headlamp/taillamp/parking lamp bezels, body-color side sills, a custom rear diffuser, unique 16-inch split 5-spoke alloy wheels in Hyper Nero black with red center caps and "GQ500" badges on the B-pillar.
Inside, the Fiat 500c GQ Edition boasts custom sport seats trimmed in black leather with matching Alcantara with a contrasting white accent stripe and GQ logos, color-keyed instrument panel, 3-spoke leather-wrapped sport steering wheel and bespoke satin-finish metallic accents. No changes were made to the 500 Turbo powertrain, which consists of the 160-horsepower/1.4-liter MultiAir engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. Deliveries of the new 2014 Fiat 500c GQ Edition will start in early 2014. Pricing will be announced closer to its on-sale date.
