2013 Dodge Dart Interior update

2013 Dodge Dart Instrument Panel

The latest bit of show and tell on the 2013 Dodge Dart involves a peek at some of its trick instrumentation and more details about how this new compact sedan will set class benchmarks with respect to space and sophistication. In addition to its many standards, including outstanding build quality, loads of soft-touch surfaces, the cabin space of a mid-size vehicle, segment-leading hip/shoulder room and 10 airbags, Dodge says the Dart also will offer buyers an unprecedented level of class-exclusive technology and customization/personalization possibilities.

Highlight of the Dart's driver-centric dash design is a "floating-island bezel" for the primary instrumentation. Beyond the standard dials, it can be filled with an available 7.0-inch Thin Film Transistor (TFT) customizable gauge cluster display encircled with a light pipe surround. A UConnect Touch multimedia center is also on the Dart's menu, complete with a largest-in-class 8.4-inch touchscreen and light pipe accenting. Other notable standard/optional 2013 Dodge Dart features include ambient lighting, a generously scaled center console and a glovebox that can easily swallow an iPad as well as the availability of both Blind Spot Monitoring Rear Cross Path Detection systems, two more class-exclusives.
