Details are still pretty limited, but Fiat has confirmed that the much-anticipated 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth variant will make its debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November. As would be expected from any car carrying this legendary name in high-performance motoring, the U.S.-spec Fiat 500 Abarth will share much in common with its hot Italian sibling, including a distinctive body kit, full sport suspension, bigger wheel/tires/brakes, enthusiast-oriented interior upgrades and a turbocharged version of Fiat's 1.4-liter MultiAir 4-cylinder engine that could develop anywhere from 135 to 160 horsepower.
