2012 Fiat 500 Pink Ribbon Edition - fashioned to fight breast cancer
As we head into National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Fiat has announced a new limited-edition offering whose sales will help generate additional funding for The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). On sale in its salons across the country in October, the 2012 Fiat 500 Pink Ribbon Edition is a collaborative effort between the automaker and the BCRF, whose mission is to both increase knowledge and prevention of this disease as well as to seek a cure.
Based on the top-line Fiat 500 "Lounge" trim, the U.S.-only Pink Ribbon Edition will be produced in a maximum of 250 units, all available in either Argento (Silver) or Bianco (White) exterior colors. Each will carry a unique dark-pink bodyside accent stripe and a light-pink ribbon above the "500" logo that appears on the car's rear flanks. Inside, the Fiat 500 Pink Ribbon Edition features Nero black leather upholstery with pink accent stitching and pink ribbon emblems in the floor mats as well as a pair of unique Fiat 500 Pink Ribbon key fobs.
The 2012 Fiat 500 Pink Ribbon Edition is priced at $22,500 and Fiat will donate $1,000 from the sale of each vehicle to the BCRF against a $50,000 minimum contribution. Standard equipment on the Pink Ribbon Edition includes a 101-horsepower 4-cylinder engine, 6-speed automatic transmission with AutoStick, 15-inch alloy wheels, a Bose premium audio system, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, Blue&Me hands-free communications system, climate-control air conditioning, cruise control, power windows/locks/mirrors and an anti-theft system.
