2011 Kia Special Edition Hamstar Soul coming this spring

Latest in an ongoing series of limited-production variations based on its cheeky compact crossover, the 2011 Kia Special Edition Hamstar Soul is due to arrive in dealer showrooms during the next month or so. Recalling its extremely popular and award-winning TV commercial, this high-profile hauler packs "a little bit of this and a little bit of that" in the way of extra upline standards along with a healthy helping of black Hamstar-heralding logos, stripes and related appliqués.

Based on the Soul+ package and embodying a good deal of the distinctive kit found on the 2011 Kia Soul Hamstar Concept that made its debut at last-year's SEMA Show, this series-build Special Edition Hamstar Soul sports body color bumpers and rear spoiler, black fender vents with side-marker repeater lights, front fog lamps, a matte-black alloy fuel filler door and 18-inch black/machine-finish alloy wheels. Inside, the Special Edition Hamstar Soul offers an upscale ambiance thanks to a full black leather trimout, heated front seats, automatic climate control, push-button start/smart key, and custom Hamstar floormats.

No word yet on pricing for the 2011 Kia Special Edition Hamstar Soul or the total number that will be produced.
