Offered in both front and all-wheel-drive configuration and with seating for five or seven, all versions of the 2011 Dodge Journey R/T are fitted with the 283-horsepower/3.6-liter Pentaster V6 engine paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. Beyond "R/T" badges, this primo Journey is set apart from its lesser brethren by unique body-color grille elements and door handles, fog lamps and special Satin Carbon-finish 19-inch alloy wheels with 225/55 tires. Interior enhancements include bespoke red-and-black cloth trim, a six-way power driver seat with lumbar control, four-way power front passenger seat, three-zone automatic temperature control, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob and remote start as well as Chrysler Group's new PowerNet electrical architecture and premium Uconnect Touch 8.4 with CD/DVD/MP3/SIRIUS Satellite radio and Uconnect phone. Pricing for the front-drive 2011 Dodge Journey R/T model starts at $28,995 while the 2011 Dodge Journey R/T AWD opens at $30,695.
