2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe: Pricing, R-Spec
By KBB.com Editors on February 11, 2009 12:57 PMHyundai made three announcements at the Chicago Auto Show, all in regards to the anticipated 2010 Genesis Coupe. The biggest news is that its sportiest model to date will start at $22,750, an alluring price for a ride that includes a 210-horsepower, 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, six-speed manual, 18-inch wheels, steering wheel-mounted audio controls, projector beam headlamps, Bluetooth connectivity and a full complement of electronic safety and stability systems. The priciest car in the 12-trim lineup will be the 3.8 Track, starting at $31,000. The automaker also announced a tuner-ready R-Spec model that trades desirable features like cruise control and steering wheel audio controls for a track-tuned suspension, 19-inch wheels, Brembo brakes and a Torsen limited-slip differential. Finally, Hyundai announced it had partnered with Rhys Millen Racing and Red Bull to take the Coupe drift racing and up Pike's Peak. We're eagerly anticipating our chance to show Mr. Millen how it's not done.
