The newest Range Rover's mildly updated exterior belies a long list of changes for the 2010 model year, including smoother, stronger powertrains, an upgraded interior and new convenience and performance technologies. Under the hood, a completely new engine lineup consists of 375- and 510-horsepower versions of a new 5.0-liter V8 (the latter supercharged) fitted to a revised six-speed automatic transmission. Notable interior enhancements include a materials upgrade, a revised touchscreen interface and a new 12-inch Thin Film Transistor screen that replaces the mechanical speedometer and tachometer with a configurable display. New technologies include an Adaptive Dynamics suspension system (a similar version of which is also offered on the 2010 Range Rover Sport) and a five-camera surround-view system (also available on the new LR4 and Range Rover Sport).
