2009 Maserati GranTurismo S: A Cruiser that Carves (4 of 4)

GranTurismo S owners will be especially pleased with the beautifully crafted interior, featuring broad expanses of rich leather. The dash features two sportif round gauges for speedometer and tachometer, accompanied by a slightly bewildering array of secondary gauges that had some quirks - one of them the inability to display a trip odometer while simultaneously viewing a full-screen map on the otherwise very useful navigation system. But we expect owners will soon come to understand (and, if necessary, forgive.) As the Maserati folks will tell you, with its more sharply defined performance the GranTurismo S is designed for a very narrow group of customers interested in an even purer driving experience, and we think those customers will be more than satisfied with it. Posers should choose accordingly.
