On the same day that Ford unveiled the Explorer America concept -- a crossover version of the vehicle that popularized the body-on-frame SUV -- Kia unveiled the mid-size, body-on-frame Borrego. Delivering more towing and off-roading capabilities than the typical CUV, the three-row Borrego is available with two- or four-wheel and a V6 or Kia's first-ever V8, which deliver towing capacities of 5,000 and 7,500 pounds, respectively. Inside, the Borrego offers navigation, USB/iPod capabilities, reverse sensors and a backup camera. Pricing hasn't been announced, but the Borrego is scheduled to arrive in Summer 2008.
