2009 Cadillac CTS-V: The V is for Venomous

If the newly redesigned 2008 CTS got heads turning, the upcoming 2009 CTS-V promises to start them spinning. The CTS' slick skin is perfectly suited to the V-Series treatment, which includes aggressive exterior enhancements, Recaro sport seats and most importantly, a 550-horsepower supercharged 6.2-liter engine. Other features to accompany its arrival late in 2008 will include a choice of manual or paddle-shift six-speed automatic transmissions, Magnetic Ride Control and a system that regulates torque delivery according to available tire grip for maximum acceleration. Expect pricing to start in the mid-$50,000 range.
