2008 Volvo V70 Wagon: More Safety, More Comfort, More Volvo

By Editors on December 28, 2007 1:35 PM
Volvo devotees have long expected their cars to be among the safest on the road, but the new V70 is also more luxurious than ever. Creature comforts like Adaptive Cruise Control and Keyless Drive join a long list of safety technologies including standard side airbags, standard stability control, Whiplash Protection System (WHIPS) and a new interior heartbeat monitor designed to forewarn approaching drivers of a potential intruder. Lurking under the hood is Volvo's 235-horsepower 3.2-liter in-line six and six-speed automatic transmission. The V70 arrives in Spring 2008 with a starting price around $33,000.
