In addition to the same 400-horsepower engine found in every Quattroporte, the range-topping Sport GT S boasts a sportier, non-active suspension, unique Brembo brakes and more sinister styling highlighted by dark wheels and a black-chrome mesh grille. Offered exclusively with a six-speed automatic transmission, Maserati claims zero-to-60 mph times of 5.5 seconds and a top speed of 165 mph. Inside, the Sport GT S is further differentiated with suede-like Alcantara, plus carbon-fiber and aluminum trim. Don't be surprised if the newest Quattroporte tops $170,000 when it arrives at your favorite Maserati dealer in 2008.
