If you own a newer
Hyundai -- especially one of the pricier models -- there's a good chance one of your passengers has uttered these four words at some point: "This is a Hyundai?!" We heard similar reactions while driving a
2008 Hyundai Veracruz Limited during a recent four-day trip to Detroit. With its rich two-tone leather interior, power sunroof, heated front seats, rain-sensing wipers, lighted scuff plates, adjustable pedals and power-adjustable steering wheel we wouldn't fault anyone for mistaking the three-row Veracruz for a premium-branded vehicle. And with a starting price of about $34,500 for the range-topping Limited trim, we wouldn't blame anyone for buying a Veracruz, either.
