Like its 5 Series stablemate, the BMW 6 Series receives a host of upgrades for 2008. The 360-horsepower V8 carries over, but a new Sport Automatic six-speed transmission delivers quicker shifts and rev-matching downshifts. Exterior updates include restyled headlight and taillight optics, side sills and wheels. Inside, new redundant hard buttons promise easier audio, ventilation and iDrive control. Lane Departure Warning is new, and the Active Cruise Control now features stop-and-go technology. The 2008 6 Series Coupe and Convertible start at $75,600 and $82,700, respectively.
