Rolling into its sophomore season, the 2015 Kia Cadenza gets a number of enhancements to make this premium full-size sedan even more competitive against rivals like the new Acura TLX, Buick LaCrosse, Chevy Impala, Toyota Avalon and its own corporate cousin, the Hyundai Azera. The changes are subtle and mostly confined to the upline Cadenza Limited trim. A new 8-way power-adjustable passenger seat and rear armrest with cup holders and USB charging port also benefit the Premium-spec version.

Buyers opting for the entry-grade Cadenza can now add a standalone panoramic glass sunroof as well as the Technology Package. Formerly available only on the Limited, it now includes Rear Cross Traffic Alert in addition to the existing radar-based Advanced Smart Cruise Control, Blind Spot Detection, Lane Departure Warning, water-shedding Hydrophobic windshield glass, Electronic Parking Brake and 19-inch wheel/tire fitment.

Distinguished by its revised grille insert and new fender garnish, the 2015 Cadenza Limited also gets revamped interior trim, a new analog clock, and LED ambient lighting. On the functional front, the Limited gains Kia's programmable Flex Steer system that modifies the power assist level along with a 360-degree Surround View Monitor system. Both Cadenza models will continue to be fitted with the 293-horsepower/3.3-liter direct-injected V6 that drives the front wheels through a 6-speed Sportmatic automatic transmission.

On sale later this year, the 2015 Kia Cadenza Premium will start at $35,700 - which is $200 less than its 2014 counterpart. The 2015 Cadenza Limited will open at $44,600, which reflects a $1,200 increase for the new season.
