Inspired by the cool charm of the Bow Tie division's original '60s-era Custom Sport Trucks, the 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Custom Sport Special Edition is set to roll into dealer showrooms later this year. The new Custom Sport treatment will be available on double-cab and crew-cab Silverado models in LT and LTZ trims as well as on LT Z71-spec variants. The LT variants will be finished in black or white while LTZ Custom Sport trucks can be had in black or Diamond White Tricoat paint.

All new Silverado Custom Sport models boast a monochrome look with the front/rear bumpers and grille surrounds painted to match the body. Other cosmetic touches include 20-inch chrome wheels along with chrome door handles, mirror caps and side moldings. On the functional front, the new Custom Sport kit adds projector beam headlamps, tow hooks and heated power-adjusted mirrors.

Pricing for the 2015 Chevy Silverado Custom Sport Special Edition package will range from $1,950 to $2,950 on top of the LT and LTZ respective base prices of $39,940 and $43,165. Dealers will begin taking orders for the trim level later this month.
