Looking more like something we’d expect to see in the Hot Wheels section at Toys R Us, we found the DeltaWing IndyCar Concept sitting on the floor of the Chicago Auto Show all life-size and everything. The Izod IndyCar Series, the major league of American open-wheel racing, is looking for a cheaper, more efficient racecar, and this is one of four proposals. If it doesn’t get the nod, perhaps DeltaWing can repackage it as a turnkey Bonneville Salt Flats runner for well-to-do weekend warriors. Can’t you just see a big cloud of dust coming off the back of this thing?
