Concept: Lexus LF-A Roadster
By KBB.com Editors on January 16, 2008 1:18 PMAt the 2005 Detroit Auto Show, Lexus unveiled a supercar concept they called the LF-A. At the 2007 show, they unwrapped a second-generation LF-A. This year, it was the LF-A Roadster. Like the LF-A coupe, the convertible features a V10 engine capable of producing more than 500 horsepower and a top speed of more than 200 miles per hour. To better manage the varying aerodynamic properties of a convertible, the LF-A Roadster gains a speed-adaptive rear wing. The best thing about the LF-A? We're expecting a Ferrari-fighting production version as soon as 2009.
