2009 Ford Transit Connect: Delivering Big Returns in Small Spaces

By KBB.com Editors on February 6, 2008 1:41 PM
If you think maneuvering the streets of Chicago on foot is hard, try doing it in a full-size delivery truck. Ford's solution arrives next year in the 2009 Ford Transit Connect. The small, upright van was designed to navigate European roads but also offers 143 cubic feet of cargo area. To ensure maximum flexibility, the Transit Connect features dual sliding side doors, a 180-degree-opening rear door and will be offered in an array of configurations designed to fit most small business needs. The Turkish-built Transit will employ a 2.0-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine good for about 20 mpg in city driving.
