Pros: "A great ride, as was my 2000 LeSabre."

Cons: "Don't really have any!"

"Love this car. Selling because it spends more than seven mos. in storage each year while I'm at my legal residence. I regret that Buick is no longer making the LeSabre. . . ."

Pros: "Can be bought relatively cheap"

Cons: "Window regulators"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 4

"In a 3 month span looking for a second car for our family, I test drove 7 LeSabres. The years ranged from 2000-2005. Mileage ranged from 90K-154K. Every single LeSabre had ATLEAST one window NOT working. 2 had transmission issues. 2 had instrument panel issues (gas gauge not working, lights not on, etc.) They all had the same smell too, which was actually weird considering it didn't smell like a car. Kinda like a womans purse smell, lol. Best way to describe it. I bought it cause it was cheap. They all drove pretty good. The seating is a little "frumpy" even after adjusting it, and the ride is soft, almost floaty if you know what I mean. They all had front end issues, even mine, but I had that fixed. I would recommend test driving a few before deciding, and you can buy window regulators online and put them in yourself for around $75 each and no more than 30 minutes of your time. You just need a putty knife to pry off the door panel from the inside."

Pros: "Comfy, reliable, super gas mileage, quick"

Cons: "None worth mentioning"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"GM made this car for years and improved it every year. The last few years of production (2003-2005) it was a beauty: Comfortable, reliable, economical, with unexpected performance for such a large car with outstanding fuel economy. Used models in good condition are in high demand. I wish it were still in production. :"

Pros: "Reliable, cheap parts, luxurious, powerful"

Cons: "Fuel efficiency is fair, not the most stylish"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I didn't pay very much for this car. I got it at 160000 miles and It's still running good at 240000 over the last five years I've driven it. It had a problem with the rubber hose elbows melting (common after about 10-12 yrs.) It was very inexpensive to repair. However if you let little problems like that go without taking care of them immediately it can turn into a huge problem that could total your car, which stands true in any vehicle (the previously mentioned problem can be diagnosed as when the car begins to overheat. If this car or any other car is running hot, get it serviced immediately!) The 90's and early 2000 models weren't the most stylish for the Buick (or any car) in my opinion. However this car has never left me stranded, always starts up....And has been driven in some pretty harsh conditions that allot of smaller cars probably wouldn't be able to handle and maintain such resilience. In addition the car is not as terrible on gas as many seem to think. It gets good hwy, 32-36, and not so great in town (more like 12-15) I can average up 25mpg overall, but usually stays around 21-22, I've never had under 20mpg overall. The cruise control just barley stopped working at 14 yrs old, and the tape player made a strange noise before it stopped working. But the sound system is really good, (and who listens to tapes anymore anyway?) Thats about all I have to say about my super reliable Buick, though I must add that I've had regularly scheduled routine maintenance (such as oil changes) throughout my ownership, and I had records that the previous owner did as well. If those are neglected, you'll have problems for sure....again, stands true with any car you purchase"
