"Great salesman, lead me to a good deal, I was just hoping it would run for awhile, at least until it was paid off, 3 yrs. It is still ticking and good on gas. A blessing. Thanks Tom."

Pros: "Electronic features & gauge indicators"

Cons: "Water on front passenger comes in, very common"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"Great car, runs & drives smoothly like you're gliding. I love this car despite the opinion(s) that it looks like an elderly person(s) vehicle. I can assure you that it is DEFINITELY a family vehicle. It's safe, powerful, excellent gas mileage. No complaints at all, maintenance is minimal. Most parts are inexpensive. Very popular vehicle & highly recommend it."

Pros: "Handsome/Comfortable/Smart looking air vent holes"

Cons: "They don't make any more...even the sharp "RIVIERA"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"Hi. I have had this car for about 6 years almost. I bought it used from one other owner. It was in MINT condition! It looked brand new and the interior was almost ne looking but most importantly....the "bench seat" is the MOST comfortable seat on the back...especially the lumbar area. The style is handsome! It is bronze color with a dark brown roadster-looking cloth top. Looks like a convertible. Also has a nice chrome luggage rack on the top of the trunk. Has "Presidential" written in gold on each side of the roof of car. Sharp. I have never really heard anything "negative" about Buick cars in general. Very well made and comfortable and roomy. Even in the back seat. They should bring back SOME cars with bench seats for more room and comfort and also, bring back some Drive-In Movie Theatres! Even the younger people would love them...copies of the old "classics!!" Right??!! The drive-Ins would do a great business outdoors, especially in the spring, summer and fall! Enjoy Life!!!! ADD MORE "CHROME" on the cars again! So much sharper looking!!!!"

"This was a great car except the transmission had to be rebuilt at 36,000 miles and it was close to needing it again when we donated it to NPR at 136,000 miles. Buick worked with us the first time and as I remember it we each paid 50% of the cost to fix it. We also had all the power windows motors break with the driver's window breaking twice. It was a very expensive repair so we only fixed the front windows and had the back windows blocked so they would stop falling down."

"This is a great car! I average 23 - 25 miles per gallon in town and 35-38 miles to the gallon on the highway. It is comfortable to ride in short or long trips. I have always had it serviced and it has repaid me very well!"

"I bought this Buick Century Brand new-with all the features I desired in a car. It has been a faithful vehicle--got to where I was going and back safely without any trouble. I had my 1st accident in 49 yrs---hit a truck bumper made of railroad tie, damage to right front fender and bumper--repairs were $1500----other than that, wonderful vehicle. going for a lease for a Buick Encore when Century is in trouble. She is starting to rust on the rocker panels......A Buick is an outstanding automobile....."
