Pros: "Very fun to drive and completely reliable."

Cons: "A tight squeeze to get into. Miniature backseat."

"A very fun and responsive engine/drivetrain. Revs freely to the 8100 redline. Comfortable seats, excellent Bose stereo and flawless reliability have made this a most enjoyable car to own. Might have to sell this car that is in impeccable shape and is one of the few cars I have owned that I will REALLY miss when she's gone. Too sad that Acura let this model die. The NSX will be nice, for those that can afford it. For the rest of us the RSX Type S fit the bill nicely."

"I purchased this car with 70,000 miles on it from it's original owner. It has given me -no- problems whatsoever, and I have put 50,000 miles on it in a little over a year. The car is not too fast for a teen to drive, but has just enough pick up to get you around in the big city. It is very comfortable and has racing style seats which are both attractive and functional."

"I recently sold my Type-S so I thought I'd give my final thoughts on the vehicle. This is an exceptional daily driver in so many ways. The exterior is just the right amount of aggressive without being cheesy while the interior is fine black "leather" with driver centered controls and red dash lighting. More than once I had passengers climb in and remark "wow, this is a really nice car." The hatchback configuration with rear folding seats also means that this car offers exceptional utility. I had this car during the end of my college years and I was always amazed how much stuff I could fit in it whenever I had to move. There are also a plethora of little touches that I wish more cars had- like the hooks on the sides of the trunk that are perfect for groceries or the compartment in the front that craftily converts to a cupholder (of which there are 5 total in a max 4 passenger car). The performance is very good for a daily driver. The K series engine is simply a joy to rev and it responds amazingly well to aftermarket bolt-ons. The handling is also very well balanced and does very well for a FWD vehicle. Even though this car was really fun to thrash about it was dependable and reliable with only regular maintenance. All in all I will always remember this car very fondly and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a practical yet sporty day-to-day car."
