Pros: "Rides like a much bigger car, firm and comfortable"

Cons: "None"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"The most trouble free car I've ever owned except for the Volvo I owned prior to this one. Dealer visits for normal maintenance only. 36 MPG at 70 MPH, 24 MPG at local driving speeds, on regular gas. A completely reliable car."

Pros: "Great Seat Comfort, Safe and Luxe interior"

Cons: "Costly Constant Repairs after 5 Years"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 2

"I owned a non-Turbo FWD V70 for 11 years and kept detailed repair records. Great Car, superb seats and felt solid as new on the day I sold it in 2015. Always knew I would be protected in a collision. Frequent minor repairs began at end of year 5. Everything except bulbs is expensive to repair. Almost $14k total in the years owned. About same repair cost as BMW, IMHO. Timing Belt and water pump $1060, Oil Trap PCV $600, Dash Instrument Cluster $900, Alternator $400+ and On and On. Never any major engine or transmission repair. Very sensitive to any wear in steering components or it would eat tires. I suggest to only Lease a Volvo, and turn-in before warranty expires. Not for anyone on a budget !!"

Pros: "great acceleration, seats and cargo room"

Cons: "limited turning radius, expensive to maintain"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 8

"We bought ours new 15 years ago and are having a hard time giving it up. It has 135K on it and we have spent $16K in maintenance during those years. Most comfortable seats in industry bar none. Cargo space that is incredible. With the T5 engine, I can pass anyone, anywhere, anytime. Yes, Volvo maintenance is expensive so I take it to a local shop that I trust. We are looking at a XC-70 T6 to replace this car, but intend to keep this one for around town jaunts until it dies."

Pros: "Well maintained, new tires, turbo, racks, safe"

Cons: "minor fixable scratches and dings, leather worn"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"This turbo xc wagon is the perfect car for anyone who loves to go and do! It is mechanically in great condition, has 4 new all weather tires plus 4 Blissak tires with one season left and comes with top-end Thule bike and ski racks! It also has rubber all weather mats front and back as well as cargo. Finally, it has the much coveted dual built-in booster seats and third row! The ONLY reason I am giving this car up is because of having inherited another car! This car does everything SAFELY and drives like a sports car! I have complete records of all maintenance."

Pros: "Safety"

Cons: "Premium gas, expensive to fix"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9

"Have enjoyed this car for 10 years. Its major drawback, in my opinion, is the need for premium gas. The small wagon style allows me to carry most items that I want. Starting to need expensive repairs that I had never heard of: breather box, engine mounts, etc., which surprised me due to low mileage."
