I own this car - My approximate mileage is 74,200
overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsPros: "Bed in rear, Superrrrr spacious, awesome on gas!"
Cons: "No glove compartment!"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"I love my Volkswagen. It runs awesome and I just love all the spacious room. This van is awesome for long trips, does awesome on gas and is super comfortable. I highly recommend this van for long trips. My family of seven sits comfortably and love it. We always fold the third row seat to a bed and its very nicely built, its really sturdy with two adults able to sleep there. Its really reliable and I love the way it rides. I have had no problems since i bought it with 45,000 miles and still drives like brand new. I have had no problems and I don't think I ever will."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 170,000
overall rating 7 of 10rating detailsPros: "roomy, comfortable, simple"
Cons: "expensive to repair"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 7
"I have a love/hate relationship with this car. It's cavernous, so going camping with a pile o' kids and the dog is a breeze. It's fabulous for road trips and has plenty of power, even at 170K miles. Most of the car has lived a full life; the original battery was replaced just last year! But. It's expensive as all get out to repair. The electrical system (as with many VWs) is quirky. And, random parts seem to simply break - door handles, arm rests, head liner, etc. If these things don't bother you, you'll love the car. If they do... you might not be a VW person"

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 193
overall rating 1 of 10rating detailsPros: "Seating and travel capability"
Cons: "Bad engine, very bad water pumps, hard starti"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 1
"This vehicle has the worst record for water pump repair, four water pumps in 10 years! Alternator repair - 3 each. Very hard starting in hot weather, doesn't stay running at stop lights, even though through 3 tune-ups. Replaced 3 fuel injectors at 60k miles. Have to replace speed sensor every year. Anti-lock brakes went out the first year of operation. Three sets of brake disks all around in ten years. Glass delaminating, tape player has never worked, different orange peel paint all around. Hazard warning switch failed at 30k miles. "B" piller continues to delaminate paint and clear coat. "C" piller area continues to crack sealant. Replaced coil recommended by dealer to no avail. ALL door latches do not work when below zero - once door is opened they will not relatch unless brought to warmer temps, lube does not work on door latches. Cruise goes out once a year along with gas gauge function. Replaced air mass flow sensor 2 times, plus an abundance of other sensors in engine compartment. For more go to "My VW Lemon"."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 125,000
overall rating 9 of 10rating detailsPros: "versatile, efficient, comfortable"
Cons: "sensitive idiot lights, need a good mechanic"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"This big little van has the most comfortable seats of any vehicle I've owned -- great on trips. I get about 23 mpg on the highway, but it does drive like the box it is. We can travel, sleep, and eat at a table in this very versatile vehicle. If we pull the seats out, it can haul a huge load, more than my pickup truck. The only negative is that it has very sensitive sensors, so idiot lights come on too often. If you've got a good Bosch-certified mechanic, which I do, that is no problem. It has never let me down on the road. In my 50 years of driving, this is the best vehicle overall."
