"Owned this car the last 4 and a half years. So much fun to drive. The paint job was great on this car. It still is super shiny after 9 years. The Techtronic shifter paddles and the shifter handle just add to the fun. Gets great MPG, 30 or more on the highway as long as you don't jump on it too hard."
Pros: "solid car, feels expensive, German quality"
Cons: "some torq steer, some road/tire noise"

"Having owned this'12 VW Eos for the last 4 years I can honestly say it is a pleasure to drive both in town and on the interstate. It gets looks almost every shopping trip, the top mechanics are amazing, no leeks, no problems, plenty of room in trunk when top down for grocerys, top up 2+ suit cases. Good on gas( very close to EPA specs) with peppy turbo too boot. Very nice interior layout, still looks new, like the leatherette seats much. Would highly recommend for crusing convertible or travel with top up."
"I own a 2007 VW EOS that only has 56,000 miles. It has been a lemon ever since I got it. Before I had 7,000 miles on it I had to have a new compressor twice, and since then I have had to have numerous other repairs to the motor, timing, window motor, convertible motor twice, lumbar seat motor, and numerous other repairs. I would NEVER recommend a VW of any kind to any body."
"Bought this car at 1 year old for $25k. If you are a driver that appreciates the driving experience, this car is great for the price. The body is solid as is the engineering. Takes corners great. Mechanics of the top draws attention as does the sleek silver look. Tinted windows compliments the aerodynamics. I've gotten many many compliments. I would buy another but VW isn't making them anymore."
"I took her off of the show room floor one month after they came out. She has only had one doctors office and goes for her check ups on time every 6,000 miles. Now that she is all mine as of 9/17/15 she now has to have a new Headliner replaced for about $1,100 plus reason being VW designed the pulley system on the retractable top out of a SHOE STRANG TYPE FABRIC THAT HAS NO SEEM ALOWANCE ON THE BRACEING. I am going to have it replaced in the spring but I also am writing a letter to three top people at VW telling them that I think VW should help pay part of my replacement bill.
ROOF LEAKE IS THE NUMBER ONE PROBLEM PEOPLE SAY THEY HAVE WITH THIS CAR BUT, IF YOU LUBERCATE ALL OF THE SEALS NO LESS THAN TWICE A YEAR AND ASK THE DEALER TO SEAL BEFORE YOU DRIVE OFF THE LOT, WITH "GUMMI PFLEGE SHIFT" SOLD ON AMAZOM OR KRYOX THROUGH MOST DEALERSHIPS YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE ANY LEAKE PROBLEMS.."
