"I've owned this 2012 CC since it was new in March of 2011. In that time I have had NOTHING go wrong with the car with the exception of one spark plug mounted coil. I have a couple of niggling complaints that stem from me being to tall to get in and out of the car comfortably, but that's hardly the car's fault. It's comfortable, fast, safe and reliable. I would rather the rear window defogger was a little more powerful and VW stereo systems always seem to be a few years behind, but those are minor issues. And I get 32 mpg averaging 68 mph on freeway trips."
"I have owned my cc for 3 years and I have put over 20k into it for repairs. Once, one thing goes wrong everything does. The tires no matter what brand make horrible horrible sounds. My entire engine had to be replaced because of a automaker defect. It took over 2 months to get it back because the mess of getting almost new engine that has no problems is almost impossible. Also $100+ in an oil change is stupid! My a/c has gone out, my rear view mirror has fallen down and the paint on the shifter has started to chip. My car has a total of 12 recalls on it and the value of it since the VW scandal has dropped horribly. This is by far the worst purchase car wise I have ever made. I have owned fords, chevys and jeeps that never gave me this much issue. Take my advise and stay away from VW."
Pros: "fun to drive, extended warranty, sporty and luxury"
Cons: "bucket seats in the back and front"

"This candy white 2012 Volkswagen CC is like new with just over 50 thousand miles. It drives better than it did when I first bought it back in November. It has all the bells and whistles that are possible for this type of vehicle with black leatherette seating, wood-grained dashboard, sunroof, tinted windows, the fastest car on the road. It even comes with a warranty that transfers with the car that covers any repairs up to 100k miles. It has never had an issue, it runs like new."
"This 4 cylinder 2.0 Turbo drives like a sports car with a V8 under the hood. Everything about this car says "luxury". My only complaint involves ergonomics. It is somewhat difficult to get in and out of without a can opener. If I was 20 years younger, that might not be a problem. Overall...a fun car to drive"
Cons: "hard to drive, touchy acceleration, awful in snow"

"I've been driving this car for 4 years now. I bought it new. When I test-drove the car, I remember complaining that the gas was touchy and it was difficult to know where the front and back bumpers were. I thought I'd get used to these things after driving it for a while, but I haven't. Pulling out and backing in to parking spaces is really difficult without a rear-view camera, because there's absolutely no knowing where the bumper is. And forget about parallel parking. Some other comments:
(1) comfortable seats
(2) good sound system
(4) bluetooth system and radio controls on steering wheel prevent distractions while driving.
(1) awful in the snow!
(2) touchy acceleration in the low gears
(3) no rear-view camera
(4) somewhat loud when driving (road-noise)
(5) after about 40k miles, the interior startled rattling while driving. Really annoying!
(6) eats through tires
(7) takes premium gas
(8) touchscreen console is obnoxiously slow
(9) steering wheel doesn't move in/out, only up/down
(10) super low ground clearance means I bottom-out on speed bumps.
I'll also mention that my husband is 6'1" and the sleek profile makes it hard for him to get in and out of this car."
Cons: "$600 service required for the DSG at 40,000 miles"

"I've owned this car for two years and 40,000 miles. No problems so far, other than a check engine light for not closing the gas cap tightly. Great driver and gas mileage. Love the look - it's different, and several clients have commented on the great styling. The valet at the Austin W hotel said he thought the tan on black interior and was much nicer than the much pricier German rides."
