"I'm going to sell but only because I'm leaving country. I hope I can find her a good home. Best vehicle I have ever owned. I have taken her on hunting trips, moved with her but she still runs great, smooth ride and still looks pretty."

Pros: "reliable, stong, keep its value"

Cons: "the back seats are tight. only 15-18 mpg."

"I own this tundra v8 4.7 01 for almost 4 years. Beside of oil change, I have done nothing to it. It's easy to drive and so reliable. I have seen this car selling for $3,500 with over 250,000 miles. I believe it keeps the value even though it's old. I'll keep it for long time."

Pros: "Reliabilty."

Cons: "Can't think of any"

"I have a 2006 Tundra Quad Cab 4x4 with SR5 trim. The Tundra was my dream truck from the moment I first saw one. But it took me a long time to finally purchase one. I bought mine used in 2011 with just under 30K miles on it and have logged another 100+K miles since then. The 2006 is the last model year before Toyota upsized the Tundras. I think its the ideal size of truck for everyday driving. It drives and handles great and has been very reliable. I just change oil, brakes and tires and I'm good to go. Gas mileage is not too bad, 18.4 mpg was the best I ever got on a trip and 17.5 was more the norm, with 16 or so being a reasonable combined city/highway estimate."

Cons: "It's big. I guess it needs to be."

"I bought this truck new in 2005. Although it is not 4 wheel drive, I have never had an issue because I have avoided driving it in snow or on ice. I didn't want the damage associated with chemical treatments, and the truck has just been examined by Toyota as part of it's recall, and it passed with flying colors, although they did do an underbody treatment anyway. The truck has had all required services on schedule, and it has performed flawlessly regardless of it's use. It has the off-road package which I have used, as well as the tow package, and they are essential if you want full utility. The interior is spacious, the rear seat has three configurations: passenger seating for three; seat back laid down; and seat folded against front seat backs. There are compartments under the rear seat which is where I keep my handguns when traveling. The front console is roomy and has plenty of storage. The engine, which is a 282 CI V8 has ample power for towing, and the heat and AC is typical Toyota efficiency. It's the fastest cool down in the heat of summer of any car I've ever owned. And at 115,000 miles works perfectly. The wheel alignment on this truck is awesome, takes a pounding and retains the alignment for a long time. The roads here are bumpy and with a full tank or a load rides and drives very well. When the tank is close to empty, with no load the ride is on the choppy side, but then it is a truck. All in all, I have every intention of replacing it with another Tundra although with no reason for a four door anymore, I will opt for a conventional two door cab. Love the Tundra, and this is the first for the series having replaced the T-100 truck. I did not experience the new car bugs and fixes most new series go through. If I could replace it with another brand new 2005, I would without hesitation."
