"Just turned 350,000 mi, only issues with this truck is I had to replace 3 ignition coils and the front rotors twice. Definetly one of the best drive trains ever made by Toyota. Don't waste your time with the 6 cyl.the V8 and 4sp Auto trans is the way to go. Still get 18-21 MPG."
"Truck is the best I've ever owned. Was a Ford man until this truck came along in 2005. Really hate to even contemplate selling/trading but it's time to move on. ALL maintenance records are available."
Cons: "Access cab is a bit awkward and not enough room"

"I'm going to sell but only because I'm leaving country. I hope I can find her a good home. Best vehicle I have ever owned. I have taken her on hunting trips, moved with her but she still runs great, smooth ride and still looks pretty."
"I own this tundra v8 4.7 01 for almost 4 years. Beside of oil change, I have done nothing to it. It's easy to drive and so reliable. I have seen this car selling for $3,500 with over 250,000 miles. I believe it keeps the value even though it's old. I'll keep it for long time."
"I have a 2006 Tundra Quad Cab 4x4 with SR5 trim. The Tundra was my dream truck from the moment I first saw one. But it took me a long time to finally purchase one. I bought mine used in 2011 with just under 30K miles on it and have logged another 100+K miles since then. The 2006 is the last model year before Toyota upsized the Tundras. I think its the ideal size of truck for everyday driving. It drives and handles great and has been very reliable. I just change oil, brakes and tires and I'm good to go. Gas mileage is not too bad, 18.4 mpg was the best I ever got on a trip and 17.5 was more the norm, with 16 or so being a reasonable combined city/highway estimate."
"brand new tires, brakes, radiator, and water pump. always used synthetic oil. runs great the truck has been in in the family sence first purchase. looking for a new tacoma perferibly but just want a good newer pick up with better gas millage"
