I Cant Believe This Car!

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 233,000

Pros: "Runs FOREVER, Great MPG, Great shifting"

Cons: "Pricey exhaust if its a Manual shift."

"I own a '95 Tercell. I bought this car 3 years ago for $800 with 137K miles on it. She always sipped a little oil, but that is fine. She now has over 233,000 miles and I'm just now starting to have problems. The body is beat up, but you'll have that when battling deer and coal dust where i live. Looking at putting a couple hundred into her and running her for another 100K miles. Oh, and i get 39MPG!!!!! Only downside to mine is trying to get a toddler into a rear-facing car seat in the back. That is a bit of a struggle lol."

Until the Wheels Fall Off..."314K" & still going!!

Pros: "CHEAP, RELIABLE, & LONG LASTING..."

Cons: "LOOK...THIS CAR ISN'T A CHICK MAGNET...LOL"

"It was my wife's first real car during college, she bought it Brand New...we are the "Original Owners"!! This car has been thru 4 accidents and a few minor repairs & she still going...I currently average 6K per month and I change the oil every 3K!! Perfect starter car for any High school or College student! Buy a used one under 100K, still has tons of life left...so, if you find one & it's in Great condition...BUY IT!!- WORTH EVERY DIME & PENNY!!- LOL"

Teetuu just won't die!

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 200,000

Pros: "Reliable, reliable, reliable!"

Cons: "For what it is, I can't think of any."

"Ok...she might not be fancy, but at 200k now, this has been the absolute most reliable car our family has ever owned. Bought used several years ago (then with 120k), only routine maintenance (we did do a full refurb of the A/C...but only because it was driven in Florida for several years) has been done since we bought it. It now resides in Colorado Springs with my son. Sure, 93 HP doesn't get much...but she starts every morning, pulls very near 40 MPG and does so without leaking a drop or exhibiting any smoke or noise. The interior, while spartan, is leaps and bounds ahead of even today's Toyotas when it comes to quality and durability. When my son graduates, I sincerely hope the little wonder car comes back to me! A decent paint job and maybe a nicer set of rims/tires and I'd be thrilled to drive her for the next 5 years."

great reliable car!!!

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 72,000

Pros: "35 mpg, reliability, low cost easy maintenance."

Cons: "very compact, has just the basics, no toys at all"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9

"Ive had my tercel for over two years and love it. its not a good looking car or the most comfortable, but i was looking for great gas mileage and reliability with little maintenance cost, and i got it!! avarage 35 mpg.. and it hasent given me one single problem yet. im going on 35000 miles and its running great, headache free. Regular maintenance, gas it up, and go go go."

Cons: "No Power Steering."

"It has never given me any problems. bought it with 50k miles and now running strong with 182000. never stopped on road yet. changed tire 3 times but no engine problems."
