Great truck!

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 305,000

Pros: "Excellent truck....most reliable."

Cons: "clock in a bad location/ wish for leather interior"

"Have 305,000 on this truck and it has had very few problems. It is driven every day 85 miles round trip. The paint and finish has held up remarkably well and when it is cleaned up, it looks great! Could not be more please that I purchased this vehicle. Has been used for an array of chores and hauling over the years. Don't think it is ever going to wear out!!"

Pros: "Great peformance, low gas, long lasting"

Cons: "Great vehicle to own"

"This has been by far the most reliable vehicle I have ever owned....I love it. Only flaw is the inside cab is only capable seating two average adults, no more , no less...Other than that, If I had to buy another vehicle it would be a Toyota!"

WORST TOYOTA EVER OWNED. STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE

Pros: "NONE"

Cons: "NOT RELIABLE. COST TOO MUCH TO KEEP REPAIRS GOING"

"BOUGHT IT WHEN IT WAS ONLY A FEW YRS OLD AND HAD TROUBLE OF EVERY KIND SINCE. HAVE ALMOST A NEW ENGINE NOW IN IT. I DO NOT TRUST IT EVEN SO. IT HAS HAD OVER $6,000 INVESTED IN MAJOR REPAIRS. MOST TOYOTAS ARE SO RELIABLE THAT I WAS CONFIDENT THIS WOULD BE A GOOD LITTLE PU BUT OUR OLD,OLD,OLD JEEP HAS BEEN MUCH MORE COST EFFECTIVE EVEN THOUGH IT COSTS MORE TO INSURE AND GETS A LITTLE LESS GAS MILEAGE.(THIS DOES NOT SAVE MUCH IN GAS, BY THE WAY). IF YOU BUY A TOYOTA I HOPE YOU DO NOT PURCHASE THIS LEMON."

Reliabile? Maybe.

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 148,000

Pros: "visibility"

Cons: "cramped interior, reliability at 150,000m is so-so"

"I have had my tacoma around a 1 1/2 years. It was purchased at 144,000 miles and is currently at 148,000. It seems I may have been sold an abused truck as repair bills have been fairly large. After 1000 miles I footed a $2300 bill to repair burnt valves and a bad evap canister. Aditionally, the five speed transmission pops out of several gears and grinds when engaging, it may need a rebuild or replacement soon. As far as comfort goes, the truck has very little space and seating is uncomfortable. Maximum seating should be 2 as fitting in a third person is like a bad tetris game. It is a shame that it has so many issues, as I do enjoy driving it."

Best mid size truck on the market

"This was a brand new truck to me in 2003, ive had a few different 4x4s and this one has handled everything ive driven thru and then some! Snow, mud, ice, whatever it sees it rips apart! I will be sad when I sell this truck soon as I need something bigger because of a growing family."

Cons: "Not enough tie downs in bed."

"Customized at the manufacturer to get the moon roof and other options not available in Oregon, delivered to dealer and haven't quit driving it since. Routine maintenance, tires and 90K mile tuneup are the only things I've done. She thinks she is a beast and goes anywhere I ask her to go (even to the point of pulling out little bro's full sized pickup from hub deep mud). Pulls a small travel trailer with no problem. This little gem is the way to go!"
