"I have a 2000 4WD 4 cylinder base truck. I bought it new in 2000. The truck has never let me down in almost 15 years. It keeps going and going. I have always done regular and diligent maintenance on it. I did have to replace the radiator last year. And replace a front seal that was leaking. Other than that no other problems at this point. I had the head checked about two years ago and it was fine. I still have the original brakes and clutch. I have the big wheel option, so tires are expensive and it is a rougher ride. I totally trust my truck in deep snow and on icy roads. I have hauled wood and loaded the bed down when moving several times. The truck does not burn oil. Kelly Blue Book does not do it justice as far as value. At 120,000 miles it is worth way more than Blue Book suggests."
"16 years of average driving and never an engine or transmission problem. I change oil & filter every 5,000 miles. Only routine preventive maintenance done on this truck. I would not sell it for less than $10,000. I will drive it until either the engine or transmission falls apart. This is 10 out of 10, 5-Star rating as far as I'm concerned."
Pros: "Cannot see the clock from the drivers seat."

"Bought it off the showroom floor and have driven it daily for 13 years. Best vehicle ever owned. I put on new tires, brakes, vacuum the interior, and wash it once every 50,000 miles. :-)
Not a fair-weather truck either. Use it to pull mini excavator, and small tractors. Have placed cubes of brick in the bed. (had to fix the bed after that one!)
Carried all of our grandchildren in the back seat and have the koolaid and milk stains to prove it!
Other than that, I've done nothing to it. No alignment, no shocks. Uses no oil, neither burned nor dripped. Tailpipe is perfectly clean!
Will report back in another 13 years!"
"101000 miles and total maintence cost is less than $1100.00. One tough truck. At this point I think 200,000 miles is a given. Truck still looks showroom condition. Original paint is perfect. Interior shows little wear. Original tires went 65,000 miles. My one and only complaint is the truck rides rough and I've never gotten used to it yet! Reminds me of my Grandfathers hay frame wagon. Additionally, the resale value at this point is unbelieveable; over 50% of original cost even with the high mileage.
I really have enjoyed this truck!"
