"Great reliability, great ride, great fun with the top down. Low maintenance cost. If Toyota still made them we'd have a new one. We are looking to replace it as the technology advances in cars are so impressive and it's just time for a new ride. Not sure we'll be able to find another convertible with the great features of the Solara, not the least of which is the trunk which, even with the top down, can hold 2 sets of golf clubs and some luggage. Come on Toyota build this car again!"

"Bought my 2007 SLE convertible with 100,000 miles in 2010 and now have 202,000 miles. This car has been a pleasure to own and completely trouble-free! I change the oil, tires, brakes and it just goes and goes. I wanted a more sporty feel so I upgraded the to a set of lightweight 20" wheels (225/35-20 tires) and upgraded the suspension with Eibach springs and KYB GR-2 struts and it made a HUGE difference in handling. I would recommend this car to anyone."

An exceptional car, Pretty to look at, no defects.

"I purchased my Toyota Solara brand new. It's the light silver blue color which I absolutely love, it's completely reliable, has just the right amount of power when needed, comfortable, roomy, classy, reasonably priced ... if I could give it more than a 10 on every category, I would!"

"So sad they quit making them. My first one had a run in with a deer. I was impressed on how the car handled and the damage was limited to external only. I updated with the last years production of the series, but sadly downgraded. Hope to keep it for a collector item."

"I traded in my 2002 Hyundai Elantra for a newer car and was hoping for a pretty new car since the dealership teased us with a 2010-11. When we went in for the third time to see and they told us they had a 2005 Toyota with two doors. Since we give people rides a lot i did not think i would like the car. Then i saw the car and first i thought it looked a lot newer than they said it was. We have a sun roof, JBL audio, 6 disc changer, leather seats and heated front seats. I looked at the inside and it was so beautiful, i mean we have 8 speakers in the car and it sounds great!!! It was just as nice as the new car that they had teased us with and the back seat was bigger than our Elantra's. I love this car so much. When we bought the car we showed our friends one has a 2010 ford focus and one a Chevy Cobalt around 2010 as well and they both wanted our car. As most people who commented, I wish they made this car still. I think i will drive this car for years, i dont want to trade it in."
