Pros: "Has held its value better than most; fun to drive"

"I was lucky to find this Solara. I leased a new 1999 Solara, the first year they came out. I let it go after the lease, owned several other dependable cars in the meantime, and then I got the fever. I looked for a low-mileage, well-priced, previously owned Solara, and found this gorgeous Coca-Cola Red 2008 model online, went to the dealer (last day of the month) and drove it away! It just now turned over 46,200 miles, and still looks and feels new!"

"Took in for ALL fluid system flush just as preventative maintenance at 65K. Oil every 3K. Zero maintenance other than oil for 10 years. Replaced front struts at 65K and got return to NEW handeling. Amazing vehicle. High resale value...but will NEVER sell it."

Pros: "Great gas milage, reliable."

Cons: "Only negative was a bit of wind noise on windy day"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"This has simply been the best car I've ever owned. I finally had to work on it at 150,000 when the water pump started to leak a bit. Great gas mileage. Always between 33 and 36 MPG on mainly highway driving and I drove it a lot being I have 197,000 miles on it."

Pros: "Great raide."

Cons: "Uncomfortable seat belts"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"Love this car. Great ride, great mileage. Rides like a luxury car. My only gripe is with the seat belts. Like all convertibles, they just aren't very comfortable but there's nothing that can be done."
