"Love, love, love my Toyota Sienna! Prior to purchasing my 2006 Toyota Sienna, I owned a 2000 Toyota 4Runner, which I also loved....it was tough making the trade... During my ten years of ownership of the Sienna, I always had the dealership perform the recommended maintenance/services that was suggested including replacing my timing belt at 100K and 200K. The only items that I've had to pay for so far are new tires, new brake pads/rotors, a water pump, 2 batteries, and a fluid leak in my AWD system. I did choose to get rid of the run flat tires and go with high end Michelin tires, and currently keep a spare tire in the back storage area. Thank you Toyota for making such a great vehicle!"

"2006 3.3 liter V-6 LE model. Bought this car new.. now have 104000 mi. NO trouble. Just gas one set of tires, two sets of breaks. Would buy it again, but I don't have to ! It'll be around along time."

"I am a proud owner of this vehicle. Bought it used in 2007 with less than 40K miles..Toyota certified. It's just like driving a luxury car--according to my sister when she drove it for the first time. It is. Turning radius is so tight--spin with one finger, with ease! Totally easy to drive and all the bells and whistles I needed--and some I didn't. I love the smooth ride and the car feel from the van height! For over 225,000 miles I had absolutely ZERO mechanical problems. I did the major tuneups, oil changes, brakes --original plugs are still in it and look perfect (mechanic was shocked!) At about 230, I began to have 02 sensor things pop up, a wheel bearing go out, real main seal and another "biggie" I'd have to look up that I did have repaired. One sliding door had a major gear problem and eventually the dealership cut the cable on it. Decided to not fix that. I hate to let this one rest because it runs like it did when I bought it. Never had an engine or tranny problem. But I drive over 9K every summer and do not want to put it through the cross-country trek again. If I only drove locally, or regionally, I'd keep it and keep driving it. Just choosing not to risk a major complication on the road a great distance from home. Internally, it weathered the stress of 4 kidlets who were 3 and 5 yrs old when I bought it. Major accomplishment for leather interior."

Cons: "Run flat tires and problems with sliding door"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 8

"I have 04 Sienna XLE (273K miles) I got it new. I had it for 6 month when I was involved in major car accident. I had my 3 sons in the car at the time. The whole side of the car was replaced doors, glass, airbags and belt it cost the insurance 21,000. Thanks to God no one was hurt. I took it as a good karm and kept the car. So far, I had first tuneup at 150K, at 185K I was driving home and there was a snapping sound that come from under the hood drove for 3 mile to my house but the next day car will not start. Replace the bell and charge the battery and it was good to go. At 198K change right wheel bearings. I have one sliding door that doesn't open for a year now. Driver's door I had it weld by a friend because of a noise issue. The amazing thing is I never change the transmission oil. But now I have CE light on and P0171 code. At this point it's sad but I think is not worth fixing it."

Pros: "Comfortable to drive distances/mechanically sound"

Cons: "too many recalls and doors are difficult to close"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 5

"Car is very comfortable to drive and was reliable to drive, but it had many recalls and types of inconvenient problems. Storing the spare tire inside the car for over a year and half was not good. The back hatch was hard to close and had a recall and the fix for it made it worse not better. The side sliding door was broken and changed to manual operation for one or two years it would have cost $2K to fix but they did a recall and fixed it later. I do like the van and it is comfortable to drive. Just was disappointed with the recalls and the seeming lack of understanding that Toyota had for their customers."

"Just regular maintenance, battery repl, tires, brakes. Not all recommended work performed. Air Cond. getting weak at 110,000 miles. All systems GO. Have rented similar when on family vacation afar and same opinion. Load it up!"
