I own this car - My approximate mileage is 135,000
overall rating 9 of 10rating detailsPros: "Smooth & quiet, large capacity, decent gas mileage"
Cons: "possible transmission issues"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9
"I bought this van used about 4 years ago, and it has been nothing but a pleasure to drive. At 135000 miles it still feels like new. The only issue has been the transmission, which required a rebuild at about 120K miles. I'm told this is common in Siennas. It's a great people hauler, rides smooth, and it's very quiet. Given how many miles we put on it, I couldn't ask for a better van. It's not exciting to look at or drive, but it's a minivan. I'd strongly recommend it, but have the transmission checked before you buy."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 69,000
overall rating 1 of 10rating detailsPros: "I like the convenience of a mini van."
Cons: "Premature failure of transmission"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 1
"At 69000 I'm being told that my transmission is shot and I need to replace it at a cost of $4500. Have had multiple problems with this vehicle. Electronic sliding door works sporadically, interior lights flicker off and on or don't come on at all. Original tires had to be replaced at 20,000 miles, I have had multiple sets of brake pads replaced. Terrible quality for a $26,000 vehicle. It will be the last one I own."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 174,000
overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsPros: "Lots of creature comforts, very dependable"
Cons: "Door check broke twice, goes through lots of tires"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"I purchased my Toyota Sienna brand new when our first son was just a few months old. It has performed wonderfully. This is the only vehicle I have ever owned that I never want to get rid of. I agree on the tire wear issue. I just attributed it to buying cheaper tires. I have had one nagging issue with my driver side door check. It is the black bungee looking thing near the hinge. It has separated from the door twice now. I did not have Toyota fix it the first time 2 years ago due to price of over $700.00. Now it is broken again. Other than that I cannot imagine not having a mini van with two kids under 10 and all their gear. Creature comforts are awesome. We are taking this on a road trip to Colorado and I have no worries. Looks just like new too. Highly recommend!"
