"Seems like the 2009 is not as peppy as our 2005. Still will get another soon. Amazed us for headroom for my husband and we pack a lot of stuff in it for Florida trips."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 98,000
overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsPros: "Fuel economy, style and quality"
Cons: "Not available in AWD"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"The best of all worlds; Great gas milage (I average 50 mpg), plenty of room, controls are easy to operate, handles very well and plenty of power. Visibility is superb, especially with optional back up cam. Hatchback makes life easier. Needs more undercarriage insulation as road noise is higher than usual."

I don't own this car
overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsPros: "good gas mileage, sleek styling, low maintenance."
Cons: "What's not to love?"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"I owned this car and loved every second of it. Unfortunately, I got in an accident and the insurance company decided to total my car. i loved driving it, loved the gas mileage, even in the winter. Snow tires made it drive very well in snow and ice, almost comparable to an SUV. Apparently, even back in 2008, they had crumpling sections built in to the car to take the damage instead of the passenger. I suppose I should feel lucky that I wasn't hurt, but I want my Prius back! I am trying to find a replacement Prius now because all the other small "economical" cars I've tried in the last 2 weeks gulped gas like crazy."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 293,000
overall rating 8 of 10rating detailsPros: "Great gas mileage, great reliability"
Cons: "Little ground clearance, uncomfortable seats"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9
"Getting close to 294,000 miles, and Toyota service dept. says original brake pads have only another 20,000 miles left before they need to be replaced. It still averages 44 to 48 m.p.g. When the weather moderates the mileage goes up. The front seats could be more comfortable, and the interior materials were more durable in my 1997 Camry. I installed captain's chairs from a van in my Prius, and it is much more comfortable now, especially on long road trips. I hope to get several more years of reliable service from this car."
