"Original owner and had it for 22 years. Absolutely adored this car and very sorry I got rid of it. It started having problems (couldn't pass emissions inspection, wouldn't start, stopped on highway) and I kept having to throw more and more money into it for repairs so finally threw in the towel. But...wonderful car, had great gas mileage and I only started having trouble with it over past yr. Wish Toyota kept making it. I ended up donating it but it would have been a great car for a kid who liked to fix cars."
"This is a great car, I have had it since 1997 2nd owner of this vehicle it had 57,000 miles when I purchased. In the years I have driven it the only repair it has required was to replace the bands in the transmission. It now has 300,000 miles on it and still going strong. Wish they were still in production, would have bought another instead I bought a Yaris"
"I want to keep it but an engine will cost me 700.00 and someone is selling me a corolla for a thousand...very confused on wath to do I love my car transition and everything else in perfect condition please advice me on what I should do..thank you sincerely."
"I bought my Paseo in 1994. 19 years and it keeps going and going and going. Yes, the back seat is for Russian circus midgets, and I do have a constant bump on my head from getting in and out of it, but the darn little car has always taken me where I want to go. It still gets about 37 mpg around town and a bit more on the interstate. Just got it repainted, so my love affair with the Paseo will continue. Fuuuuuuuuun to drive!!!! My 20 something son wants the Paseo, he may have to wait until he is in his 40's."
Cons: "No back seat worth talking about, sits really low"

"Car was given to me by neighbor after son rear ended a trailer. Nothing hurt but body work. Have changed front wheel bearings and have had some issues with the water pump. The car gets around 42MPG on the road and around 35 in town. Have a knot on back of my head from getting in and out of it and forget using the back seat unless your passengers are only 3 to 4 feet tall. Love the car, gotta paint it and do some body work but wouldn't sell this car for anything. I drive 25 miles one way to work each day and I average putting around $20.00 in the tank a week. Its just a fun car to drive and on $10.00 you can drive it all you want. Recommend getting one if you get the chance."
