Pros: "Gas efficient, reliable, comfortable for its size."

Cons: "Noisy at high speed on freeway."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I was looking for a reliable commute car when I bought this car as a used 3-year old. It's a great little car and serves me well the past 12 years, which included 5-years of traveling back and forth to another town 200 miles away EVERY WEEKEND for business. Even though I'm not a speed demon, I do drive this car at 70-80 mph quite often, and it handles the speed with flying color. I was rear-ended twice at slow traffic, but the bumper didn't give... and only left some scratches and a little bit of paint scrapped off. I am always amazed by the sturdiness and reliability of this car. I never had any mechanical problem (not counting the time I left the lights on by accident and drained the battery) even though I put a lot of miles on this car. Whenever I took it in for maintenance at my favorite mechanic, he would always tell me there wasn't any problem (besides normal wear and tear) and said I can probably drive it for another 100,000 miles. The ride can be noisy, especially on the freeway; but it probably is because I only had the standard 1-CD & FM/AM player so the car interior is not where you can really enjoy your music unless you crank the volume. It sits four easily but can handle five without much trouble unless they are big guys and you have a trunk full of stuff. It rides comfortable enough for a car its size and the steering handles very smoothly. The gas tank fills up at about 10-10.5 galloons and I routinely get 330-340 miles out of a tank of gas. If you are a practical person who does not have your ego tie to your car, and only need normal driving without hurling a lot of stuff, you'll find this car a capable work horse, even though its size reminds you more of a sled dog rather than a horse."

Pros: "Economical and reliable. Great gas mileage."

Cons: "It's a small car with a small engine. Putt-Putt."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 8

"Very reliable. Really like the driver's head room. Sits high for such a small car. Has been very functional. Comfortable seating. Economical. Just a solid all around everyday car. It will get you and your stuff where you want to go."

Pros: "fun, low price, low maintenance"

Cons: "under-powered AC"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9

"Absolutely love the center speedometer console - steering wheel or arm are never in the way to see vital info. Drives great, surprisingly quick, and all the perks of a small car like easy parking. Gas mileage is great, I routinely get 34-36 going back and forth to work, 41 on the only highway trip I took it on. The only real issue I had was the AC motor went out at around 85K. Approximately 155K needed motor mounts and exhaust. I replaced the transmission as well, but that is likely due to my hard driving style. My only complaint is the AC always seemed under-powered, it took a while to cool down on a hot day."
