"Very Sound and Safe Vehicle. Excellent Acceleration for a 4-Cyl No Major Issues the entire time we have owned it If looking for an economical sound car for fuel economy and reliability I would highly recommend the Celica. It is also still very stylish even for a 15 year old model. Great first car for a High School Student"

"My first choice of cars was a Saab so I would buy them "very used". Family history led me to Saabs with parents that were both of Swedish descent. Expensive to maintain and that was not so much fun! So, a co-worker had a Celica and gave me a ride to the garage to pick up my Saab that was being repaired (naturally). I had to have one! Found my Celica with 23K miles at a dealer in Boston and I have owned the car from the 23K to the current 111K. Fun to drive? Awesome! Five speed manual transmission - close to the ground... handles the tight curves! No mechanical issues that were not normal wear. I love this car! The mileage is moving up so I have to consider options. Still great car - no complaints, ever! They don't make them anymore... why?"

Pros: "Fun to Drive! Looks Great! Reliable!"

Cons: "Not much Room"

"Value- Holds value pretty good compared to other vehicles Reliability- Never Had one problem always starts right up and Is ready to go! Quality- I think quality is great! would have got a 10/10 but the cardboard looking headliner kind of ruins it Driving Dynamics- Great!!! takes corners beautifully has good pick up speed and for a sporty car it is surprisingly comfy. Design- 9/10 mostly because of the headliner I enjoy the feel I get when I sit in mine. The seats hug you very well when going around a corner. The vents and the way the dashboard has a V in it makes it feel very sporty! I also put a 7" screen in and you can hardly tell its a 2001!!! I was told many times it looks amazing! Now to get to the outside, body fetchers to me are great. Its very unique. Comfort and Convenience- 9/10 if your looking to buy this car you already no that your not going mudding and in crazy places I gave it a 9 because back seats are 100% useless. Overall Rating- 9/10 Nothing is perfect!!!"

Pros: "Fun to drive, great mileage, hatchback easy."

Cons: "Hatchback is heavy to lift."

"Purchased in red, on my mid life crisis, 50th Birthday and Best Car Ever! Zero maintenance cost except for one battery. Oh, and for leaving the sunroof open in a poring rain-- which cost plenty for dealership to suck it out about two weeks after it was mine. I hope someday it will be the best, FIRST car ever for some lucky teen-- as I have yet to drive though McDonald's without a teen complimenting, "Cool Car!" 2005 RED GTS TOYOTA CELICA, with spoiler and 45,000 Grammy miles. Some kid is going to be lucky real soon-- cause it's getting harder each day to get in and out my LOW, sporty "cool car!" Get up and go, power, speed-- more than any kid needs-- including me. So, why don't they make them still? Too, reliable I suppose."

Cons: "small back seat, blind spots in the rear"

"Bought this car 4 1/2 years ago with 47,000 miles on it. Had my mechanic service it and all it needed to pass inspection was a new set of Michelin tires. Runs well and regularly gets 27 mpg with my foot into it. Replaced the factory stereo with a Pioneer double deck that included Ipod capability, aux input, CD and DVD, bluetooth, plus AM FM stereo and added a Back-up camera. I only drive it about 4000 miles a year. Its fun to drive and shift through the gears. Besides oil changes and other routine work, Cannot complain."
