I own this car - My approximate mileage is 102,400
overall rating 3 of 10rating detailsPros: "Ok Gas Mileage, Good Interior & Cargo Space"
Cons: "Unreliable Engine, Low Quality Interior"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 1
"I got this car used with 95,500 mile in August of 2012 and have nothing but problems. Now, 9 months and 7,000 miles later, I have had to repair rear suspension and replace the starter, crank shaft, and oil pump... JUST TO KEEP IT RUNNING. The rear defroster still does not work, the dashboard is shrinking in the sun, the teeth on the key have worn down and no longer unlock the doors or trunk, and the back lights on the climate control do not work... Even with all of the engine problems I still average about 28/29 mpg with mixed driving. The interior is ugly and unrefined with the use of too much cheap foam rubber that does not hold up well. The cup holders in the front are poorly designed as a result I cannot use them other wise my drink will fall over when stopping or accelerating. The pass through into the trunk is small and limited to the seats. It does however offer a good amount of space inside in both front and back. The trunk is massive as is the gas tank. The exterior is so so. Not beautiful; not ugly. The paint on the plastic door handles has a tendency to scrape off easily. Overall, after my experience with my Camry, I would not ever recommend for somebody to buy one. I will say however that many of the problems that I have experienced have been unique to my particular car. One of the previous owners did not take care of its basic mechanical needs. As a result major problems have surfaced later on in its life. If properly maintained a Camry can easily last to 200,000 miles plus... Unfortunately for me my car is not one of those..."

"I know that I will have to get a new car but I will miss this car more than any of the others I have driven. The costs each year to run this car is far superior to my other friends cars."

"Between my husband and me, this is the 4th Camry we've owned. Without question, it has proven to be very reliable and very easy to obtain service anywhere, at reasonable cost. We are planning to purchase another one next month, and possibly two (since we both need new cars at this time)."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 228,000
overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsPros: "Reliable well made vehicle of best value"
Cons: "Conservative looking; could be more sporty looking"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"By far this is the most reliable car I have ever owned. At well over 225K this car is still running strong. Starts every time, engine is still smooth and seems to have at least another 150K miles of life left in it. Have been faithful with oil changes and use full synthetic as often as possible but definitely not less than quality synthetic blends. No major repairs needed except for the replacement of the BCM at about 212K (8 years after purchase...not bad at all). Still looks good inside and out."

Cons: "NONE!!"

"I love this car. I bought it new and have had no problems with it. I replaced the usual items, but overall this car is very low maintenance. It is built for comfort. Everything is in the right place for maximum comfort and convenience. I recently had a Sirius radio installed and used a 2013 Honda accord-no comparision!1 Even with the 7 years difference, the Honda could not compete. The Camry is smoother, quieter and more comfortable to drive. If I do replace this car it will be with a newer same model. You cannot go wrong!"
